In the first inning, NorthWood Panthers got their offense started. With two outs, Jacob Raasch doubled and Gage Gongwer would drive him in with a single. The Panther offense stalled out from there until the 7th inning. In the middle frames, it was defensive miscues that allowed Western to separate the score.

Gongwer took the loss. The pitcher lasted four innings, allowing four hits and two runs (one earned) while striking out four and walking two. Karson Kirby and Trever Klotz both came in to relief. combined they gave up 3 hits, 1 earned run whiling striking out 3 and walking 1.

Kyle Sellers, Gongwer, and Jacob Raasch all had one hit to lead NorthWood.
