NorthWood played well on the road to defeat 2A 9th ranked Westview. The Panthers were relentless on the defensive end holding the Warriors to 31% spring for the night. Through the first half, the Panthers did not allow a single offensive rebound.

The boys showed efficiency on offense. Sharing the ball for 14 buckets. Senior PG Brock Flickinger has 5 assists with zero turnovers. Trent Edwards finished with 13 to lead NorthWood scoring, but more importantly he had 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Jamarr Jackson had 11 points with 3 offensive rebounds. Cooper Wiens was steady with 8 points and teaming with Edwards to defend Westview’s Charlie Yoder most of the game. Three bigs, Jason Borkholder, Josh Stratford, and Freshman Ian Raasch showed solid minutes cleaning up the glass and defending the basket area.

It was a quality win vs a quality opponent but the Panthers will look to continue their run as they host Fairfield on Saturday night.
