Fairfield scored four runs in the first inning, but NorthWood Panthers still won 9-7 on Friday. In the high scoring affair, both teams collected ten hits a piece.

NorthWood opened up an early lead in the first inning when Trever Klotz singled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run to put the Panthers up 5-4.

NorthWood Panthers took the lead for good with one run in the fourth inning. In the fourth Logan Balasa singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

Landon Kemp earned the victory on the mound. Kemp went four innings, allowing seven runs (3 earned) on eight hits and striking out five. Balasa threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen to earn the save for NorthWood.

NorthWood Panthers totaled ten hits in the game. Jacob Raasch, Gage Gongwer, Beau Stankovich, and Balasa all managed multiple hits for NorthWood Panthers.
