Caleb Branam was clutch at the plate with ducks on the pond on Saturday, driving in five on three hits to lead NorthWood Panthers JV past Breman JV 12-9 on Saturday. Branam drove in runs on a double in the second, a home run in the third, and a groundout in the fourth.

Breman JV scored five runs in the sixth inning, but NorthWood Panthers JV still managed to pull out the victory.

NorthWood Panthers JV got things started in the first inning when Beau Patterson doubled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.

NorthWood Panthers JV notched four runs in the second inning. Cody Lambert, Branam, Patterson, and Logan Beachy all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Logan Perry earned the victory on the mound for NorthWood Panthers JV. Perry allowed four hits and four runs over five and a third innings, striking out five. Branam threw one and two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen.

NorthWood Panthers JV saw the ball well today, racking up 13 hits in the game. Patterson, Branam, Lambert, and Dawson Kemp each racked up multiple hits for NorthWood Panthers JV. Lambert, Branam, and Patterson all had three hits to lead NorthWood Panthers JV. NorthWood Panthers JV stole eight bases during the game as three players stole more than one. Branam led the way with two. NorthWood Panthers JV was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error.
