Brant Mast drove in six on three hits and Payton Bear drove in five on three hits to lead the NorthWood Panthers past West Noble 20-1 on Wednesday. Mast drove in runs on a double in the third, a home run in the fourth, and a single in the fourth.
In the first inning, NorthWood got their offense started when Payton Bear homered on a 2-0 count, scoring two runs. The Panthers would put up seven runs in the third and fourth innings each. Mast and Matt Dutkowski would go back to back with homeruns in the fourth inning for the Panthers.
Dutkowski was credited with the victory for NorthWood. He went five innings, allowing one run (unearned) on three hits, striking out five and walking zero.
NorthWood Panthers totaled 16 hits. Bear, Mast, Cam Hershberger, Davis, and Dutkowski each collected multiple hits for the night.
