A nine-run fourth inning led the NorthWood Panthers to a 14-3 victory on Friday. Trey Allman, Brant Mast, Payton Bear, Brock Miller, and Jaden Miller powered the big inning with RBIs.
NorthWood fired up the offense in the first inning. Bear drove in one when he singled. Kyler Hauptli went deep in the first inning to bring two more home with him. NorthWood Panthers would go on to homer two more times on the day. Jaden Miller went for the long ball in the fourth inning. Mast had a dinger in the fourth inning as well. NorthWood racked up 13 hits. Bear, Mast, Allman, Matt Dutkowski, and Jaden Miller each had multiple hits.
Sawyer Warren pitched NorthWood to victory, lasting four innings, allowing two hits and two runs while striking out four. Alec Holcomb threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
