NorthWood Panthers JV watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 4-1 loss to Wawasee on Monday. Wawasee took the lead on a walk in the first inning.
NorthWood Panthers JV lost despite out-hitting Wawasee 11 to three.

Wawasee opened up scoring in the first inning, when Baker drew a walk, scoring one run.
Wawasee scored three runs in the third inning. Wawasee batters contributing to the big inning included Bess, Moore, and Baker, who all drove in runs.

Garza pitched Wawasee to victory. He lasted seven innings, allowing 11 hits and one run while striking out six.

Jacob Raasch took the loss for NorthWood Panthers JV. He went seven innings, allowing four runs on three hits and striking out five.

NorthWood Panthers JV tallied 11 hits on the day. Raasch, Kyle Sellers, and Beau Stankovich all managed multiple hits for NorthWood Panthers JV. Raasch led NorthWood Panthers JV with three hits in four at bats.

Wawasee didn’t commit a single error in the field. Kessler had the most chances in the field with six.
