NorthWood Panthers JV stole the lead late in the game in a 4-3 victory over Plymouth on Friday. NorthWood Panthers JV was down 2-1 in the top of the fifth inning when Jack Wysong doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.
Plymouth got things moving in the second inning.
Jacob Raasch was credited with the victory for NorthWood Panthers JV. He allowed two hits and three runs over five innings, striking out three. Landon Kemp threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Kemp recorded the last six outs to earn the save for NorthWood Panthers JV.
Weidner took the loss for Plymouth. He went one and two-thirds innings, allowing three runs on two hits and striking out two.
Spier started the game for Plymouth. He went three and a third innings, allowing one run on four hits, striking out four and walking one.
NorthWood Panthers JV racked up seven hits. Josh Stratford, Raasch, and Wysong all managed multiple hits for NorthWood Panthers JV. Wysong, Raasch, and Stratford each collected two hits to lead NorthWood Panthers JV. Beau Stankovich also compiled to Hit by Pitches.
