Panther Basketball started the game slow Friday night. They found themselves down early 16-3 after committing 7 turnovers. However, the boys clawed back in the second after a 13-1 run to get the game to a 22-21 Warsaw advantage. Warsaw would hit a buzzer beater to take a halftime lead of 31-24.
The second half saw another back and forth battle in the third quarter. Unfortunately, the Panthers could not convert on enough open opportunities to close the Warsaw lead. Warsaw would close the game out in the fourth to win the conference matchup.
The Panthers were led in scoring by Trent Edwards with 15 (5 rebounds) and Ben Vincent with 13 (5 assists). Nick Bean would finish with 10 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists.
