Panthers News · Panther Basketball Home Opener & Donate Life Night

Donate Life on the Home Opener.  The NorthWood Panthers host the Lakeland Lakers Wednesday, November 27th to kick off the 2019-2020 Boys Basketball season.  Mark Mikel, girls cross country and track coach, will speak between games telling is daughter Kelsey’s story about organ donation.  There will be an organ donation table set-up during the game in the south surge where all can participate.  In conjunction with Donate Life Night all can sign up for the I Am Thankful Four Thanksgiving Run where all proceeds are used for the Kelsey Mikel Scholarship Foundation.  Registration for the I Am Thankful Four will be located in the cafeteria.  I am thankful Coach Mark Mikel coached my daughter Whitney for eight seasons in high school as she is a better person because of his leadership.

The NorthWood Panthers return 5 seniors in Trent Edwards, Brock Flickinger, Jason Borkholder, Josh Stratford and Andrew Miller.  Ben Vincent and Caleb Schwartz are juniors contributing to this year’s varsity as well as sophomores Jamarr Jackson and Cooper Wiens.  We are looking to start a tremendous journey this Wednesday.
